H&R Springs..

What's the difference between Sport springs and OE springs? I'm about to drop my car, and I don't want it too low. I want like a 2 finger gap. What should I go with?

I believe the OE gives it a more even look..while the Sport gives it a raked look.

I just recently put OE Sports on my '00. They gave a 1" drop in the front and 3/4" drop in the rear.

Do just do the springs...do it the right way...it will wind up costing you more money down the road.

HR Sports. OE is a waste of $$ imo. i got 2 fingers front, 1.5 rear. i've only scraped twice /w the kit. i actually wish the front was lowered another finger or so.

Get the 50103.

They're the only ones that won't sag in the rear on the TL.

Well I mean it in two ways.........

You'll get less of a bouncy feel with shocks as well. You won't blow your shocks out...and the ride will be more sporty.

Also to install the springs is not an easy job...unless your doing it yourself prepare to spend at least 200 - 300. It'll cost the same to install the springs and shocks.

So installing shocks make your shocks better and last longer?
What's a good brand of shocks? How much do they run for?

i have the sport springs. they're a little lower than the oe ones. i think it's 1.75 in the front and 1.5 in the back. pretty even look overall, no rake. i personally like it better than the oe but that's just my opinion.

the ride is a little stiffer, but in NY everything is stiffer. like someone said earlier, you'll prolly have to get new shocks as well. good luck!

Shock choices are

Tokico Blue ~=$300
Tokico Illumina ~=$500
Koni Yellow ~=$600

The last two are adjustable.

P.S. I concur with getting shocks at the same time. I had CT springs on stock shocks and they started a bit bouncy and have progressively gotten more annoying. It's getting to the point where stock springs and shocks were more comfortable which was not my goal. Getting Illumina's put on within the month.
