don't think you're suppose to cut them. the bumpstops are there to protect the shocks.

well, you've only increased the chance of your shocks to blow prematurely. if you want more shock travel, then buy shortened sport/race strut/shocks that were designed for lowering.

I got H&R race springs, and I recommend that you get spring isolators (they are an abestos type looking material that goes over each coil of your spring). If you don't have them, you will hear a squeak coming out everytime you hit a bump. Quite annoying. After you put these spring isolators on, the squeaks will go away (unless you hit a bump real hard, then you might hear one). Good luck!

Where did you get spring isolators and where do they go? Between the spring and the car frame? Can you install it without taking ur suspension out? I get squeaks when i turn the steering wheel, but i don't kown what it is.

You should be able to get them from your local autoparts store or speedshop. Yes, you can install it without taking your suspension out...to visualize this, just think of a bagel that you eat for breakfast. Cut the bagel on one side and stretch it a bit (think an open mouth pacman). Now the insides are hollow, and that's where the actual coil of the spring sits in. Remember, the spring isolator wraps around EACH coil of your spring. It does not cover the spring, nor does it have anything to do with between spring and car frame. When you go over bumps, the squeaking you hear is the spring's coils hitting each other. The spring isolator will solve this problem (it prevents the coils from hitting each other, hence no squeaks when the springs compress when you go over bumps). If you squeak everytime you turn the steering wheel, that's a different problem I think. Hope this helps.
