wouldn't the rake-look i.e. old school muscle car tilted butt in the air wear out front TIRES/suspension quicker?

The rear end does not look significantly more "butt in the air." But to answer your question, 4 wheel alignment and/or a camber kit will help prevent the tires from prematurely wearing out. As for the shocks wearing out, it depends on how aggressive you drive. The more aggressive you are behind the wheel, the sooner you will need to replace the shocks. I'm still on stock shocks, and they are still OK after 2 years. But they are starting to get weak.

on the H&R sports will a camber kit or aftermarket shocks be nessasary on stock tires?

There's a guy on Ebay who is selling H&R Sports for $128 + shipping. I might get some through him.
