H&R Lower Springs question

If I install the H&R Lowering springs - the 1.75/1.5 - will I have to get the alignment kit??? I didn't think that this drop would be that bad - well bad enough to get the kits.

Has anyone else done this drop without the kits and then experienced any tire ware or any driving complaints???

I was wanting to use the extra money (alignment kits are like $300) to get a swaybar kit to increase the handling on top of the lowersprings enhancing the cornering.

Thanks again

no you won't HAVE TO, unless you have some 315-25-19 tires...
a good alignment should finish the setting nicely

When dropping your car with the H&R Sport Springs, all you need is an alignment check. You'll be fine using the H&R Springs w/your stock shocks.

"Search" for H&R Springs next time.

Alignment kits? Are you refering to a camber kit?

I need a camber kit in both front and rear...It just depends from car to car...unfortunately mine needs a camber kit and then I could get an alignment done...sucks ass I'm going to spend almost $400 for camber kits.

how low is yours that you need one? a little camber wont make for alot of wear (-1 to -1.7 camber is ok)
camber doesnt wear tires very fast. TOE wears tires really fast.
just make sure you have a good alignment done

a littlle camber helps the car corner better. and it wont ruin your tires.

the alignment kits that I was asking about, I think, are camber kits. I saw them on the same site as the springs. (they are actually more than the springs)

sweet - I think I am just going to try it to see if it needs it and then bite the bullet when I slap-em-in......

thanks for the information
