Question H.i.d

What is better 5000k or 6000k. Have stock hid lights on 02 tl..Was thinking of getting hidextra 5000k for fogs. Any opinions much appreciated

Thanks. Anybody else use the hidextra lights and how do they like them so far

I got 6000k, not blue enough for me even, but I like them a lot either way... I hear the longer the time of them burning the bluer they get, I don't even have an hour on them yet so there very bright white. I'd say get 6000k.

anything higher than 5k has less light output and cuts down on usable light output resulting in less visibility . 6k will not be bright enough and the only reason you would want 6k or higher is to have a blue tint to it.

stick with 5k if you want to see the road, but its your call.

id recommend 3000k for fogs....idea of fogs is to work in an already high glare situation (fog) so 3000k provides the most lumen output with the least glare

I have the 3000k from HIDXtra. They're good. No issues so far.

5000K and 3000K is the way to go.

4300K bulbs are the best if you want maximum visibility. Higher Kevin ratings trade performance for color.
