You never know.. but if they sell it on Ebay.. and he can provide proof it's from a junkyard.. cool beans..
I Think if I had an MDX, I would buy them!!
Buying them from the dealer is about $1000 for the ballast, bulbs, and wiring.. but not the headlight itself...
This guy is in SF eh.. hmm...
AcuraTL! Hook it up bro on your MDX!!

THEY ARE STOLEN!!!
If he was on the up-and-up, he would accept Paypal. WHat the heck is that line "Paypal is fixing my account so I cannot accept paypal ??? That is cuz he knows that you can get your money back if there is a problem.
They are either stolen, or the bulbs have been handled and are wrecked, or something fishy. I would buy them as a back-up set or for high beams or fogs, but I am very sceptical of sellers who only accept "cash, money order, or cashiers check."
Be careful!

EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING... I think he is a thief... the only reason to not use an escrow service, is that the buyer has a right to say that the stuff sucks, and he doesnt want it...
he is a shady biatch

ABout the dude, you can't assume that he's a crock. Paypal is real strict with their accounts. I've had my paypal account restricted before for "suspicious" activity. I had to send in all these utilitity bills and what not to get my account unrestricted.

Guys...that whole "won't accept Paypal" is great...and they probably are stolen...but Paypal has fuxed up my account many times before...and I've had to temporarily not accept Paypal. Also, eBay will refund your money if you can prove stuff like that...they also have a guarantee, and they'll get him too...they prosecute all kinds of people...go look at their SafeHarbor section...you'll see what I mean.

Could it be that he doesn't even have a paypal account? He can claim that he got one and it just doesn't work...
Now that doesn't mean we can call him a theif or say that those are stolen... Althought the bidding starting at $100 is a bit too low...
Those light ON THE PICTURE looks like they have been taken out nicely... but he could post pics of a nice set while send you a POS...
So, it's really hard to say... I won't buy it... but don't call him a theif just because we have no idea what's really going on...

most people dont use paypal anymore. Cuz paypal charges now. SO like if you sent a paypal order to someone, it wouldnt cost you, but it would cost the seller. I dont the details, but i know thats what they do now.

If I only did further research on HIDs I might consider getting these for my fogs and ask for them to deliver it by person. If they were legit, they coulda gone to the TL meet and sold them there.

After reading all these posts and knowing what i know about selling/buying stuff on ebay al i have to say is: when its too good to be true.....
If anyone orders them be careful and make sure you email him with some questions because to fight it afterwards is a big PITA!
I was thinking about drpping them in my fathers '00 tahoe, but i'm still skeptical about this item

Yeah, you think dealing with a NPB is bad (and it REAAAALLLLYYY sucks), dealing with bad merchandise must be worse..... However if it's stolen it's gotta be a mess too, but I'm sure you'd have better attention from Ebay, and I'm betting that they're are not waiting periods that you must go through before filing complaints. Maybe we should email Ebay that they have a very high likelyhood that they're dealing with a stolen product.

I wouldn't buy them if they were stolen even if they worked. As long as there's a market for stolen parts people will keep stealing. Also when they ship it to you, they'll know one more person who has HIDs. You might be next.

I emaild him and he replied a couple of times. Here what he said.
I asked him if these are stolen, he said:
These are not stolen.
I have no idea why you are making such accusations.
I purchased these over the internet.
That seller was selling them b/c he was doing a conversion to his car.
I bought them, but am not selling them due to financial reasons.
I am possibly selling my car too soon.
Basically auctioning them to anyone interested.
If you are serious, you may bid on them.
I have plenty of reliable refences west coast and east coast
on my items sold and purchased.
Good day,
T.W.
He told me he bought it over the internet because the guy where he bought i from did a conversion for his car and took the HIDs out. (If i were to do a conversion i would want to convert to HIDs, not take them out.) He replied:
Like I said I bought them over the internet.
He could have taken it out, or he could have bought it off a yard
in the east coast? Go figure.
If you are interested, bid.
If not, good luck.
-T.W.
The first time he said he bought it from some guy doing a conversion, the second time he said he doesnt know if theyre stole or not. Sounds fishy.
