Guys with 2000 TL what ever happen with this problem?
People with 2000TL or even 99 what ever happen to the problem that was posted last spring & summer. What was it called I forget but the problem was the car not starting back up when it was warm & the engine having a rough idle. This was not posted on this spring & summer at all. The problem most have went away because it was no recall. I had this problem & forgot the name we called it but nobody posted on it this spring & summer. It was notice last sping & summer of the 1st year the 2000 model was out.

Get alot of views but no replies but the problem was Vapor Lock on the 2000TL. Like I said it was a hot topic last spring & summer but not posted on this year. I did a search on it from awhile back problem with the fuel rail system or Vapor Lock.

There was at one point in time service bulletin regarding this problem. In certain areas due to the type of fuel available vapor lock was possible. If your car falls into this category the fuel pressure regulator had to be swapped out for one with a higher pressure setting to avoid this problem.Jens

Thanks Jens for that answer I was just wondering because the guys use to complian about that problem all the time last sprig & summer. I also thought I had the problem last year. The car was hard to start & I had rough idle wheen it did crank. That problem only happen about 3 times & went away. It would happen if I turned the car off & restarted it again shortly after tunrned off.
