Gum off leather?

Hey guys,
At a Valet a guy got gum stuck to my passenger seat. How would I remove that? Its all smeared over it.

Rub an ice cube over it for a while till it freezes, then gently pick it off. It should come off pretty easily.

Take a can of compressed air that you use to clean your computer keyboard, flip it upside down and spray the liquid that comes out on the gum. It will freeze the gum and you can pick it off. This is the best method, unless you have some access to liquid nitrogen.

No problem...

1. Take one dumbsh!t valet's head, grasp firmly by back of neck.
2. Forcefully, but smoothly, move valet's head to affected seat area.
3. Gently force valet to eat the gum off of the affected area.
4. When all traces of gum are removed, return valet's head to an upright position.
5. Voila! Your leather seat is clean again!

Hope that helps!

V.

They used to use R-12, aka Freon, in those cans to clean keyboards. They probably put R-134a, or some other non-chloride containing agent in there now, which is why turning it upside down will discharge a freezing liquid.
