okay, I'm running out of performance parts to find for my TL and damn it I want my TL to go faster than 14.563 quarter mile. I've header/exaust/pulley/CAI. I know the controller makes the VTEC kicks in earlier, but would that actually help me out in quarter mile?

It won't really help you too much. You have to program that thing just right otherwise you can really mess things up with your engine. I read your thread awhile back asking what you can do to make your car faster and that you didn't want nitrous. Well, nitrous is about all you can do right now besides waiting for the RES, or supercharger. That is unless you want to rip out your backseat and completely strip your car to drop weight.

well, I might go with a 50 shot nitrous now... custom install under the seats or hidden somewhere in the car with a remote bottle opener, don't want it in the trunk.

 

Yeah, the mystery mod #1. For speed absolutely right now, nitrous is it. I am not a fan of nitrous. It always poses a risk to your engine, plus it is not constant power. That power is gone when your bottle is empty, so I think it is kinda pointless.

 

Good question ive been wondering that myself.

 

 

Speaking of which, has anyone heard any more news on when this is coming out? Last I heard, Rick was having problems trying to duplicate the initial results.
