Guess how much the stolen HIDs go for...

$400 for everything, spoke with this kid who drives an Accord Coupe, asked him how much he paid and if they were stolen. He said he paid 400/stolen, the prism (that covers the bulb) is not that big enough (its stock for the stock bulbs) on the car to cover the bulb completely so the direction of light on the road is small because he looses most of it on the edges outside.

This is Staten Island, what are they offering in your area?

I just find it funny on how many idiots out there are willing to fork out this much cash for stolen HID that doesn't even fit their headlight housing which requires modifications. When they can just use that same amount of cash to buy a HID KIT!

You should report stolen HIDs to police to have them catch these sellers. Buyers should go to jail also to cut the demand.

o yeah and about demand... It semms as though in Ny that the demand has gone down. At one time i used to see TL's driving to the Plaza Auto mall to get their cars headlights fixed. I dont see this anymore. Did anyone notice that it kinda died down also?

It seems that the issue of stolen headlights have really died down as the cost of HID upgrade kits have gone down...It's not worth it anyone more to get $250 for a stolen HID kit...used to go for $1,000's

My friend's friend sells for $200 a pair. He lives in Newark, NJ.
Maybe I should report his friend to police.

kchao2000 and Snapple, I agree. I am pretty sure that you can report it to the police, but will the cops do anything about it?
