I've been searching around alot for a non-costly way to get a clearer sound from the bose system, primarily. People recommended me to just get a new system but that would cost quite a bit just for new speakers alone (Not that i'm cheap, savin up for a beater). Anyways, someone at the tl meet recommended me ground wires. He had it installed in his cl. At first i thought he had installed better audio cuz it sounded way better than the oem. He told me he did the wiring himself, just bought some audio cables and found the ground points and voila. Now im interested in investing in this idea. Any suggestions?

 

DIY ground wires are easy. In short it's just some heavy gauge wire from battery ground to varies chassis groudn points. Since the new groudn wires are thicker and made of somewhat better material, resistance is somewhat improved (keywork is "somewhat" here). You can buy the wires from most audio shops and DIY with some crimp connectors

you arent going to get noticably better sound with the factory set up with better ground wires

 

Where's the DIY for ground wires?

 

Please don't think your stock system will sound better with upgraded ground wire.....
