Imo, the tips are WAY to phocking big for the TL, unless you have a kit. Plus, the sound of the muff's is too ricey for me.

 

THE THING IS THE EXHAUSTS DONT SOUND RICEY IF YOU HEARD TEH EVOS BEFORE ON A ACCORD. IT SOUNDS CLEAN AS FU*$. NOT EVEN LOUD.

Well I have the GReddy EVO's and I love them. I have them on for bout a few weeks now. I also have the stock bodykit n lowered with H&R Sports. The exhaust isn't that loud to me. It just has a deep tone to it on low RPM's. I guess its all about your own taste. Some peeps like it and some other peeps don't. I wish I had pics for you to see but, the ones I do have up don't have the GReddy's installed. But I am gonna borrow my friend's digi-cam and take some pics for you to see.

FYI,

Just remember, if you do get the GReddy EVO's don't get the Accord V6 one cause you need to do some modifications to the piping and the cat flange unless you don't mind doing the mod. Get the CL-S application instead prefect fit direct bolt-on.

I can think of at least 3 members that got them, and then remove them and sold theirs because they were to Loud and big.
One was "AC"

 

I think greddy exhausts are pretty obnoxious....the tips are always WAY too big and they are too loud. If you are gonna get an aftermarket exhaust get the comptechs.....Greddy stuff is for ricers with civics that like to have 5 inch tips

 

YOU GUYS GOTTA REMEMBER THIS. THE GREDDY EXHAUSTS FOR THE V6 ARENT LOUD. YOU GUYS ARE THINKING ABOUT THE ONES FOR THE 4BANGERS AND THEY ARE LOUD. FOR TEH V6 ITS MORE OF A DEEP TONE. LOW AND DEEP. THE REASON IM GETTING TEH V6 ACCORD ONES IS BECAUSE IM ONLY GETTING THE EXHAUSTS FOR $400 BUCKS. SO YEAH DONT MID MODDING IT ALITTLE BIT. AND IM ALSO GETTING THE COMPTECH HEADERS FROMA V6 ACCORD WILL THEY FIT. AND IM GETTING IT FOR LESS THEN 500 BUCKS. HIT ME BACK UP.

I'm thinking of dumpting my comptechs and going full cat back.... so Greddy Evo's are one of my choices right now.

What does this mean??? I thought the CL ones are modified Accord ones?? So they have a dual option Greddy Evo's for CL/ TL applications now??

AC had/has GReddy Power Extreme's.

ANDYTRAN - Just get the exhaust, it shouldn't be loud at all since you said your only getting the mufflers and not the full piping. As for the headers, I'm not sure if they will fit or not since an Accord has a 3.0 (I think).

 

WELL YEAH I WAS TOLD BY SOME PEOPLE THAT TEH HEADERS WOULD FIT. OH WELL NO HARM IN TRYING. AND YEAH IMMA GET THE EXHAUST JUST GOTTA WAIT FOR THE GUY.

hey wassup ANDYTRAN . . . i was once in your shoes askin bout the greddy evo exhaust too . . had no replied except for replies sayin they too loud and big. i was getting it because i came across a deal like yours. imo . . . the exhaust tips is a lil too big but the sound that come out of it is great. i got the oem kit so i didnt worry much about the exhaust standing out. a cuzin of mines got it on his 2000 accord v6. so u have no problem worryin bout a different sound. they're also sayin its real loud . . . it nowhere near that. i thou it was too quiet. its true that they sayin its loud cuz its the sound comin out a of 4 cylinder car. hAHHA but i can live with it cuz it doesnt sound much while idle but when u slam on it . . . sound sweet. hope that help you out in makin your decision in getting it or not.

Andy, I've seen and heard the EVO's, they aren't as loud as you would expect them to be. I personally don't like the fact that they are 5 inch tips.

Cars like the Supra can pull off a 5 inch tip, and look nice.

I just think they look out of proportion to the TL.

I was originally going to get the EVOs as well.
