Cool ...Got the S2000 the other day......

Hey guys, like the title states, I finally found a dealership with S2000s, and better yet, the color I wanted (Silverstone Metallic with red seats). We sealed the deal early yesterday... I leased it as I was planning to do, and my baby is sittin in my garage right now. Oh mama I absolutely love that car, but I'll always miss the TL.

As for you guys on the forum, all of you rule, especially Snook for settin everything up. I really appreciate the help you guys gave me, and I feel I owe the forum and the site something. So, Snook, if ya want me to, I'll redesign the entire site for free, makin it look all futuristic and what not.

Well, I'll talk to you guys later, I'm going cruisin tonight : )

I would call it a TL convertible since the NSX is a two door, two seater TL

Soopa, its all under my father's name. He was there to do all that signing junk and what not. I wouldn't have been able to get it if I put everything under my name, plus the insurance would've been high as anything. So I'll be payin my insurance and lease costs to my father, and he'll take care of everything else.

Jaded Wallaby, way to go! Nice choice. And thanks for the offer, check your email

Hay socal28 I am thinking the same thing. My wife and I are down to one car now. I am either going to get a Tacoma to tow my boat. Or stick my boat in the marina and get a S2000. Boy sure would be sweet with that Comptech supercharger!
What color you thinking Silver ?

Tim,
Too bad there isn't a DEP color like my TL, then it'll be like little brother!
Do they make a black one? I don't really like silver too much.
If you get one now, is it 2001 model? Jaded?

Tim, no doubt, S2000!!
I think that the S2000 is a lot cooler than those Mustangs or Camaro SS , better quality, higher price, it's rare, and it's a Japanese car! The Camaro SS looks good when it's new, but I bet not after like 2 years of driving Enjoy!

cool.. wish my parents would have put shit in their name... every car i've bought has been a fight to get a loan!

one question... why lease a S2k? Thats the kinda car that deserves to be bought... holds its value incredibly well and is just begging for mods! With 2k down on a $32,500 car you should have been able to get payments for not much more then your paying ot lease... especially with the interest rates your dad could get with what im assuming is great credit.

have you takin delivery of the car yet?

Hey guys,

I suggest you all get an S2000 to accompany the TL, its really an amazing car all around. Socal28, I got the 2000 because I don't think the 2001s came in just yet, and because I loved that color on the car. Of course, if you want a different selection, you could get black, white, or red, and if you want a 2001, you could get a yellow one.

As for my payments, I got pretty lucky because my friend's father works at the dealership I went to. We negotiated the price to 32,500, from like 35 because some dealerships up the price due to the scarcity of the product. My lease payments are around like 453 bucks a month, at 2000 down, which I think was decent. But anyway, I suggest you all find a good dealership and get this bad boy, its.......words just can't describe how awesome it is.

How long are you financing the car for?
6 yrs or something? What was the APR you were able to get? Seems like you got a heck of a deal on the ride.

Have fun with the ride. it's a beautiful car.
I may run into you one of these days since i live in the area too.
