Got Rear Ended last nite

i was driving home after some bubble tea with a frd

and i was like 2 blks away and had a stop at a light at finch/lesile

when i had a complete stop then a car just bumped me at the back and i didn't figured out i got hit in 10 sec

until i saw a green taurus wagon beside me, that guy probably fell asleep and didn't see the light...hitting me at 60km/h (35mph) and i was at standstill, so the impact was pretty bad

my rear bumper is like all gone, the trunk lid is still in shape however, but it was bent a little bit, i took some photos and show afterwards

now my car got towed and i will decide which bodyshop i am going, thinking of acura dealership but they take a long long time, now my car is at Triple Crown and they do all Sisley Honda cars with OEM parts, i guess i don't have much choice...

they got me a corolla loaner...the CE aka Cheap Edition...got power door locks, mirrors but no power windows, i could get sth better but my insurance only pays 900 for my rental, so getting an Altima would last only 15 days.

i need to go to doctor for check up later, hope everything will fine, i hate dealing with insurance coz they are slow and hard to reach...damn...

just a bad luck to me

Sorry to hear about that. It sounds like it should be fairly repairable. BTW - what's bubble tea?

"Bubble Tea hot/cold, fresh fruits/artificial flavors or a smoothie or slushy form. Bubble Tea is a "Fad" Alternative to coffee. Hot Bubble Tea in the winter or a cold one on a hot summer day, supposedly a refreshing drink” I don't know what's more lame Bubble Tea or that I know what it is......

yea man that sucks!!!

i just got teh bling bling wheels and the springs are shipping on the way then got invovled with such a bad accident...

today i went to my doctor and got referred to the physio therapist for a 2 hr therapy, at least my back and neck are loosen a bit now....

then went to the body shop and talked to the manager, at first i was scared that i didn't bring it to my acura dealer, but then i saw they are Sisley Honda's body shop and they do fix a lot of high end Hondas/Acuras like MDX, TL, S2000........so now i got a relief

i asked if he can throw in a whole set of OEM body kit and spoiler and he said no problem if i am going to chip in a little bit, so which means it's gonna be great....

they use all OEM parts so i am not that worried, now wait until insurance estimate then they can start to fix.

now i will be with the Corolla Cheap Edition for a few weeks...>_<
