Got rear ended!!!
Got rear ended!!!
Hey guys,
I was driving the other day and some old guy rear ended me. I got out of the car and inspected the car and I noticed that he had cracked the bottom of my bumper. So then I talked to the guy and told him that I had damage to my car and needed to exchange insurance info. Then I turned onto a side street and of course he didn't. By the time traffic let me through to try to follow him he was long gone. Of course, I didn't get his plate number because I never thought that some old man would pull something like that. It turns out the not only did he crack my bumper but he bent my exhaust. A couple of days later, the chrome tip fell off. My insurance will cover everything but I wonder if it is even worth it because I have to pay the $500 deductible. You really have to look to see the crack on the bumper and I am sure the I could probably bend the exhaust back into place. What do you guys think?

Dude that sucks....and who would think that the old guy would bounce!!
If the damage cost more than 1000 or so, I would go through insurance....If you can live with the damage (which most of us would not be able to do) than I would fix what I can, spend a little $$$, and forget it ever happend. Tuff Call
