Cool Got my mods today and joined street racing tonight

My car went in the shop on Tuesday and all the mods got put on and picked it up today. Tonight, I was in the dorm and there was the street racing group again (they show up around here once every two weeks or so), so I decided to join them, hop on my TL and while turning into the parking lot, floored the car and slide the car. They were all looking at my cuz it's a car they've never seen. There was a RSX-S, two CR-X, one Civic Si, two Accord coupes, one Prelude, three Eclipses and a Supra. There was also a Z24 and a Chevy Tahoe... They all gather around and I opened the hood, they could name the parts I put in. Then somebody with a radio said somebody called the cop so we all hopped on the highway. On the way to the ramp, we were at a light and I was the second in one of the 3 lanes. as soon as the light turns green, the RSX-S in front of me beat other two cars and I just zoomed around the RSX-S and took the lead. I was pulling ahead fairly fast. Then the next light, RSX-S started talking to me and I raced him. I was pretty surprised that I actually beat the RSX-S by about 4 to 5 car lengths. Then we just all jet. It was really fun, every single car there have a lot of mods on them. Exterior, interior, performance. Even the Tahoe was almost doing cookies. It was really fun, I love my TL a lot more now

It is really sweet, I can't believe how different the car has become. after the race, my friend in the passenger seat (he was with me the whole way in the race). I had him test the 0-60 time on my car and I had a really bad start and also an extra passenger in the car. and I got 6.68! I think it is AWESOME. I suppose if I can launch the car better and just by myself, I might be able to hit low 6's or 6 even. I'm hoping to get mid or low 14's for quarter mile. you guys think it's possible?

Wow! Talk about everything at one time. That must of cost you quite of bit of pocket change.
Sort of reminds me of the time when I went to the oral surgeon...... "please take em all out now cause I don't want to see you again" Ohhh that was nasty, all four at once.

Not that seeing the speed shop again is the same thing Not even close.

I have I/H/E/P plus denso iridium plugs and V-AFC, and I beat a stock CL-S by like half a car. So I would think mid to high 14's are more realistic. You will definitely need NOS to break into 13's.

two things here. How would the plugs affect the performance? by a lot? and also I'd like to keep my car all mechanical

How low is your car now with the H&R sport springs and the stock rims?

I notice smoother acceleration and better throttle response. But I installed the pulleys and the plugs at the same time so it could be the pulleys or both.
