last week, i finished installin my massager mod that i was talkin about... it owns the one the lexus LS have.... sorry no pics right now, @ work, will post once i get home, ( i took some pics while installing it...) ... now if u want to have an idea of what it looks like, just go to ur car and look at the back seat cuz thats wat it looks like lol....

the controls are on the arm rest but i'm planning to integrate them to the side of the rear doors where the ashtray is (i don't smoke)... this way, if a 3rd person sat in the car, the 2 sitting on the sides can still activate it.

it has lumbar massage, back massage, and massage for ur thighs as well as heated back seats. (i ain't joking, the heated backseats own the factory heat.. MUCH faster as well as has a safety setting where u need to sit on the seat in order for the heat to work)

all the settings have low and high .... i also installed a master switch in the front so i can turn it off for those who are having too much fun with it :P .... (and good for those suprises when someone sits in the back hehe)


hmm had to take apart both the bottom and top rear seats, if u love ur leather very much.. u might want to take it to a shop... i worked with a guy that does this for a living so got lucky.


oh and i also tinted my gauges so they are completely blacked-out during the day/night without the lights off... thanks to ONTARIO TL... once i turn on the interior lights... i can see it nicely (leds) .... pics or vid of that coming when i get home.

hehe thats wat all the guys said.. "your crazy" ... :p ... but honestly... waiting in the car or even watching movies gave it a whole new meaning.. i really want to do this to the front seats but they have airbags/sensors/occupancy sensor/heat coil... etc.. so i don't want to mess around with it... as the massagers WILL get in the way. sigh...

as for the DIY... i'll try my best since i only took a couple of pics of my installation and I MIGHT be doing it with another friend of mine who helped me with this.

i want to take a pic of the controls so u guys can tell me if i should paint it a different colour or change teh switches around. I got a guy who is totally into electronics so he told me that i can bring him the actual massaging console from the lexus LS or any nice looking console and he can integrate any massage function into it. OMG... i should ask him to integrate my compustar into my flip key! (the second smaller one)

Heated and massaging back seats!! That's so f****** luxurious!! You should def integrate the controls into the ashtrays, it sounds like it would look slicker. Glad too see some nicely modded NGM's on here. I've got one too. LOL!

 

Well I guess you're not coming up today to get the rest of your LEDs done since I haven't heard from ya. I was going to suggest we could take some pics with my camera if you came up. Oh well....I'll be cleaning my air intake and my IACV today. Oh and my spark plugs as well.....
