got into a accident, with a twist

so im at my business. as im leaving the parking lot behind this customer we stop at the stop sign. he puts his truck into reverse and starts comming backwards untill he hits me. he gets out with a stack of cash in his hand ans is like look im so sorry lets not do insurance. he has no shirt or shoes or socks on. and his pupils r dialated LIKE CRAZYYYYY. so the guy is obiously high on something. so im like look dawg, acura gonna charge me for shit shit u got 3 grand on u. n he like ight lets go bak into the parking lot. so we do, i call a dealer in jersey to see prices for the damage as i can see. which just seems to be a bumper and hood( maybe not even a hood). and the guy says anywhere between 2-3 grand. so i tell the guy 3500 just in case there are other damages and i tell him that ill give back what ever i dont use. and he goes 2700, im like look son this aint price is right, we are not negotiating here. this is what the dealer said, and i tell guy to talk to the service manager on the phone but he refuses. eventually he jus whips out 3800 CASH from his pocket and gives it to me. hes like well lets write this down and have a contract so you cant screw me. "im like y would i screw you?! i own this business, this damage aint shit to me its the principle. im not stupid i can see it in ur eyes. if i wanted to screw you i could easily call the cops and then what. im not tryin to be the bad guy here, i just want you to have the option, cus either way to me it dont matter." and so he gives me the money and im like ima go inside and count this and then we can sign the contract. but by the i counted it all and came outside he already left. crazyyyy shittttttttttt. i just wanted to give the guy an option to which way he wanted to go. either way my car gets fixed so i didnt care much. i was tryin to be nice to the guy so he wouldnt come bak and break the windows at my business or anything.

tell me what you guys this as far as prices go. to me it just seems to be a new bumper, the hood is buckled but i think they can just pull it bak and straighten it.

i cant upload for sum reason. but assuming i need a new bumper and hood painted to taffeta white.

well heres a price to look at.... the hood on my accord got dented in by a guy in a pathfinder with a spare wheel on the rear gate who kept backing into my car to get outa his spot... he just kept knocking my hood back and forth until eh go out... soo eventually, the middle of the hood was closing in and the sides twisted up.... to GET THAT FIxed, it cost 1000.... that was just for the hood to be completely fixed... dunoo how much a brand new bumper is for our cars but it shouldnt be more than a grand or maybe 1500... plus hte hoood at MAX price about 1000 is 2500 for you... less the 3800 he gave you... ur in net 1300 which to me is an airbed ride

A new front bumper would be about 400-500 painted and mounted at a body shop. Hood, I don't know.

That sucks, though. Sorry to hear about it, man. Good luck getting it fixed and put the left over money toward mods.

patel, my friend you got yourself some crazy mod money.... but you need new non-kalu rims.... so get to that first... I am happy abut your fortune, but spend wisely.... (i.e. don't spend it on that bitch that gives you knob, spend it on yourself and the car)....

When that guy realizes his cocaine money is gone, he is going to wonder about where it went. He will be back, be careful...

from your pic the damage on the hood dosn't look too bad. Most body shops should be able to fix that without needing an entire hood.

BTW, wtf was this guy doing carrying around $3800 cash in his bronco.

I'd actually be more worried about have dealers at your motel....unless you're getting a cut of it, in which case, let the modding begin!

Patel,

Sorry to know that man. You need to be worried about the shit that guy can give you once he's sober. Good you got all his info.

Looking at the picture, I do not think you'll need a new hood. That one can be fixed but you'll need new bumper, grill, and other parts in between.

ALl the best.

be careful letting those bastards mount your shit, I say do it yourself if you can.... and don't get your ride fixed by Maaco unless they are using genuine Honda/Acura parts... they jip you like that....

their paint jobs are really crappy too. if you don't have overspray, you'll get orange peel and faded/cracked paint within a few years.

I'd ask your dealer who they recomend or call a porsche, bmw, or benz dealer. they can probably recomend better shops than macco - it may cost more, but it'll be better quality.

I am almost certain you can get a new painted bumper for like 300 (i have) and a new hood for less than a grand from the dealer.

i'm assuming your installing it all yourself right?

3800...wow, new rims, head unit, and subs? lol
