I want to thank everyone who has posted on this site for the last 3 months. I have been reading about the TLS for some time and fortunately it was time to let my 98 3.2 TL (lease) go. Today I took the delivery of my 2002 TL Type S White Diamond Pearl with Tan interior and Spoiler. If you live in North Florida or Southern Georgia, I would like to recommend Proctor Acura of Tallahassee, FL. Now for those who don't live in my great town, visit www.miamiacura.com and go to their inventory to see list of all invoices for 2002 models. Using this info I got a great deal on a lease. I am considering gettting the wood trim for the vents and the wood steering wheel---Anybody got pictures? I am excited to share my TLS experience with the rest of you guys and gals from this day on, if you'll have any question please reply---Thank you again for a the great forum.

My lease came out to be right at $400 for 42 months with 15K miles. They waived the security depoit and made my first payment since this was my 4th lease through American Honda. Out of pocket about $775. Pretty decent deal with the residual at 60%.

So Cal dealer's are willing to deal if you do your homework...I am currently working on a deal that is lower than tlsdave's price. I must admit if the deal is inked then I owe tlsdave and the others that have posted their "best deals" on this site much props.
I'll let everyone know how it turns out and all the details..

Bluefrank: I wait with abated breath on your response. I was the one who confirmed TLSDave's deal. I saw his contract in person, despite the non-believers. Their loss, my gain.
I'm a couple of weeks away from getting my own and have been keeping a running tally of the prices in So Cal. $31,200-$31,500 for TL-S with Navi and a few options like burlwood shift knob and visor thrown in, is so far the best deal going.
Anyone got anything better in So Cal?
Good Luck on your deal. Hope to see your post soon.

When I got my car, I walked in with a print out from Miami Acura, www.miamiacura.com, it showed the invoice at $28680. They said they had 8 TLS and the best they can do $29500 plus a spoiler at their supposed cost $513. I thought that was pretty fair since the sticker on the car is @ $31710 w/o spoiler. The money factor from American Honda (basically the interest rate on lease) was .0028. Now, if you multiply that by 2400 (2400x.0028=6.72%), this number is pretty much what your interest rate is on the lease. You can do this with any money factor on a lease, just multiply it by magical 2400. Every bank has a different money factor, I was told Chase was even lower, but Honda would waive bunch of fees if I went with them. I took the day off and took it in to get the spoiler put on it. It makes the car look great and much more sporty. I told them that I wanted to meet the guy who was going to install it. I asked him to treat it like it was his car and he told me that I can stay and watch him install it. I was pretty nervous, specially when they started drilling the holes--but they did a great and very clean job (about 1 hour). They also detailed my car again and gave me a care package on the way out---unbelievable service from a small town dealer. That's why I keep going back to them. Sounds like some of the dealers that you guys deal with can take some notes from these guys. Had some problems with the homelink for the garage door opener but the owner's manual addressed my problem and finally I figured it out. By the way on the Acura official website www.acura.com, you can now build your TLS including all the exterior and interior options. I'll be ordering the vent wood trim next week, saw a picture and I think it really adds to the tan leather.

Wow, lowest payment I had ever know. If you don't mind, can you tell us what is the agreed price on?
Wish, I live in FL. S. Cal dealer still won't come down from MSRP. Of course, TLSDave is different.

Yeh, the $29500-$29700 seems to be the figure most TL-S, non-navs can be had at. That's about what I got mine for at Rick Case Acura in Fort Lauderdale. The best part of my deal was the $$$ that they gave me for the '99 Satin Silver 3.2TL that I had to trade in; I got top dollar.
I was out on my very first visit to test drive an '02 TL-S and after the test drive what the dealer then offered me for my '99 3.2TL in trade, well hey, I would have been a fool not to jump on it. Hell, they made my decision much easier.
I guess there is a very good market for used '99 TL'out there but I'm happy as all get out with my deal. Not to mention the sh _ _ eatin' grin I have on my face when I am driving my new TL-S; OH YEH ! ! !
