Im Fuc*in PISSED!!! My car got EGGED tonight. The ONE night I decided not to drive "A" mile down the road to go to Wawa and parked my car in front of my work, this Sh*t happens. Theres no way of getting the chipped paint repair other than Resprayed, which is going to cost $1000 because 2 doors got messed up. :angryfire

 

pics please... I've don't think a few eggs will cause total damage to two doors... I don't mean to contradict your thoughts, I just feel pretty confident in proper detailing techniques.

 

i also got egged.. the whole car was covered in it, so i just took it to the car wash place got it nice and clean, brought it home and i just did the rest of the damage myself. imean theres still slight bumps and scratches, but barely noticeable. i dont think you need to get the whole car done just because of two doors.. it shouldnt be that bad at all.just alittle frustrating and angry since it feels like crap when your car gets vandalized

 

I feel your pain. My jeep was egged onec by a disgruntled ex girlfriend. Its a pain in the ass to clean up.

never been egged here.. i keep it in the garage as much as possible.. even at friends houses.. but how long was the egg on? cause a few eggs should cause that bad of paint damage overnight.. thats silly... clean it and do a claybar and it should be smooth as before if not smoother.. it worked on my landscaping truck..

 

Its not the egg white or the yoke. On first impact, the shell cuts through the paint and leaves a circle of chipped paint and its very noticible. Ill post pics when the sun is not as bright out.

 

wow.. that must be one hard egg to chip/cut the paint.. i cant even do it to my truck with my nails..

That suck! Well at least they didnt throw bolonga on your car, cuz that would of cmpletely screwed up your paint.

I know someone that got egged and they used coke soda. Then they washed the car, It took it all off.

 

i feel your pain. two years ago my car got egged the one night i felt too lazy to put the car cover over the TL. I woke up late the next morning and most of the eggs got baked into the paint. Had those round shell chippings all over the trunk, rear bunper and doors. The marks are still there and i feel sad everytime i see them there are a lot of assholes out there.

I wish I knew who did it. I dont think I have a problem with any one. Most people in the local area knows my car and im friendly towards everyone.

 

It must be really buggin you that every morning waking up and see chipped paint because some a$$hole decide to to vandaliszed your car and thinks it funny. Its only been 1 day and everytime I walk by the TL, my anger takes control of me.

 

This is true. My last TL-S got egged when I was parked at sisters house on the street. The impact from the egg from a moving car made the paint crack in a circular pattern.
