Well I wasn't on here much, I really never said alot, but I have seen some beautiful cars on here, so great job everyone. I had a 2002 TL-S NBP and I loved it. However, I went to the dealership just to look around when I fell in love with a 2004 TL WDP, She looked at me, i pursued, she backed off, I pursued more... and so we danced. In a nut shell, I traded the '02 and purchased the '04. I will never drive another make. I love these generations and wish you all luck with your finely tuned 2G's. I'll make sure to post pictures in the 2G section first to get all of your opinions, thanks for all the advice. See you soon!

although i would have went with 06+ b/c of the known issues with 04-05 trannys on the 3rd gen as well... but good luck and gratz...

 

you'll have to come to the next meet so we can see it in person

 

They didn't change the tranny design until 07 - 08.. so even 04 - 06's are prone to tranny issues.
