Gold package on a black TL?

If anyone has the gold package on their BLACK 2002 TL, please post some pics here. I'm curious on how it changes the look.

Gold Package

FKNA,

I have a gold package on my dark green 2000 TL. I don't have it on my NBP 2002 TL-S but it should give you an idea of how it will look. Take a look at it at www.dariga.com/acura2 Personally, I think it looks great on green but only OK on black. Ergo, the decision not to do it on the black car. But, to each his own.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the pics....it does look good on green.

I hear ya about the looks on black. I don't want a "ghetto" look by adding the gold package. That's why I won't purchase the package until I know for sure exactly what it will look like on black.

Can you please explain to me how the gold package will look "ghetto" on a black TL?

I have the gold package on my black TL and I have been given lots of compliments on it.

Thanks for the pics bud....looks great. Doesn't have the "ghetto" look at all.

Terminology I'm using may not be correct, just the best I could come up with. I know that we have all seen one time or another a gold package on a black vehicle that simply looked like crap. Instead of making the vehicle look better, it would make it look "cheap". But your pictures look great.

Now, if anyone has a black TL with inner AND outer grill gold package on the front, please post your pic.

Thanks Dave and Blackshadow for your pics. This helped me in making my decision. When I bought the car I almost bought the gold package (inner and outer). I'm glad I didn't, because I can see now I would prefer the inner only package.

Yea I would want only the inner too, but I got mine used and didn't have much of a choice The car was just too good a deal to pass up (just under $22k for a 99 with only 25,000 miles!) Think about getting gold for the letters on the back though, I think it looks classier then the silver letters.

I hear ya....gotta jump on a good deal when you come across it.

I think a got a pretty good deal as well, at least I hope I did. Spent 4 hours haggling over price. Got a new 2002 TL-P with the navigation system and paid $30,500 + TTL
