goin in for tranny tomorrow

yep, i think its my turn. my 00 with 33K miles has always shifted rough but its just gotten out of hand. its scaring the crap out of me now. the thing is, it doesnt do it ALL the time, only once in a while. so if i tell them this, what will they do? im just afraid that they will say they cant duplicate the problem. what will they think when they see mods on the car. i was thinking about getting my mom to take it in, they will believe her more than an 18 y.o w/ a hooked up car

u took off your springs? that was kinda dumb. they wont void your tranny warranty (or any other for that matter) just because you put springs on your car.

well if you havent noticed, the tranny is on the bottom of the car and if you lower it, the tranny is closer to the ground. also, in order to install springs, i took the long way and took the axle out. that sure is a tranny component. even if i didnt take the long way to install them, they could say i messed with the axle and void that warranty

its no biggie cuz they are goin back on once i get everything str8.

Don't worry, just tell them that your car is slow anyways so it can't be the fact that you abused the tranny.
