"Glazed" rotors?
"Glazed" rotors?
Went to get my brakes taken care of this weekend. I noticed they were squealling just a tiny bit. After the tech took a look at them, he said that I still have 50% of my pads left, but the rotors had glazed over. Said he could replace the rotors, but then I'd have to do my pads too, and since I had 50% left, he suggested I just wait until the pads were shot and do it all at once.
Never heard of "glazed" rotors - what does that mean?
