you need a Tamper Torx T20, I think, right behind the headlight under the hood, remove the torx screw on that circle cup cover, than turn clockwise to remove it, unclip the wire that goes to the headlight. reach your hand below the light, push it down on the clip then move it to the left to unclip it. Now the bulb just come right out. Replace it with a new one.

Ok got the bilb out....never seen these before.
Checked with PepBoys, since I work next door, and they do not stock them. Are these dealer only?

FYI, our low beams are D2R HID (high-intensity discharge) bulbs. They are not regular halogen bulbs you see on most regular cars.

You can either buy the bulb from the dealer but I wouldn't recommend it cause they charge an arm and a leg for it. Or you can try asking here on the board or post a thread in the black market asking to buy it.

BTW, pep boys do not carry HIDs.

And dont touch the bulb... the skin oils will burn it out in no time. (Similar to halogens)

You probably have to go online to get a good deal on one.
Are you sure its the bulb and not the ballast?

I heard you need to replace both. Sometimes the color of the bulbs are different just what i heard but yeah these bulbs are expensive. Great at night lights up the road like crazy. I like the 6k myself.

try this site http://www.plasmagarage.com/ to get your lights.
Good luck

I believe you need to move the airbox out of the way. I have Comptech Icebox and I had to remove the airbox lid. Wear latex gloves so you will not touch D2R bulbs.

Just so you know, some people feel that the 8000k is to high and they loose lumens (aka the bulb is not as bright). I have 6500k on my car and love them, but they are illegal. I think that the legal max is around 4800k. Also, make sure that the bulbs have the little silver strip that you see on the stock bulbs. Some companies make a bulb with a base that will fit in a car with projectors or reflectors and dont have the reflector strip. The bulb will blind oncoming drivers with out the strip (or so I have heard). I am just making suggestions.

Also, be careful when you are removing the air box. I broke one of the clips holding the top of the box down last time I opended it. I also broke one of the clips that holds the bulb in place and had to make a replacement from a paper clip. I need to make a trip to the junk yard to replace it. In the end my blubs look great and I only broke 2 parts in the process...
