shes gone nuts she thinks that my car does not need to be touch i removed the intake resanator and flipped out and told me that i had to put it on i told her no that more restriction and it my car cant breath and its not hurting anything with it being off. Then! i told her i need wheels and to drop my car about an inch and she said NO its fine the way it is i said no its not it needs to be modded shes really putin the cabosh on my having fun with my car so tell her that its ok to do stuff with it please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its your car , do what you want with it. BTW, prepare to get flamed hardcore for this thread.. lol.

She needs to be replaced, and why are you telling her how you spend your money- its your money right- not hers?? or are you totally owned?
not to mention the lower resonator intake resatriction was a freebie, and you dont hear it unless on the power hard.
I wanted new wheels and shocks, so I told my wife we needed a few things for the car, then waited till she was far away on vacation and slipped on teins and 18s.
What?- no, the rims just make it look lower.

Now, coming from a Married POV I can understand this type of circumstance.
Before we got Married my then GF had the same logic, "waste of money".
But she let me mod my car because it was my car and my money.
Once we started talkin' about marriage we had to save up, so it was now "our money".

I finally got it through my girlfriend of 4 years that cars are a project and a hobby for me. Now she's coo with anything. you gotta let her know that she has shopping and you have your car. she needs to get with the program bro. cuz when you're older and you're getting married, that leash is only gonna get tighter
