Hi All...My 03 TLS is 13 Mos old and i have noticed the my fines are fadeing and gettin a bit pitted......i dont use any harsh cleaners on it and all i usually use 2 clean em is a soft terry cloth towel and a lil bit of water and let some of the suds drip on after all my rims really dont get that dirty....Has any one gotten their rims replaced under warrenty??? Or atleast has tried??? And do u think I should try??? thanks Peace

My car is just about 4mo old and so far no problems with the rims, I find that they don't get very dirty at all (good thing).
I wash them with the same soap that I use for the car surface and what I do is I use the "Wax as You Dry" and spray a little on the rims and that keeps them shiny and protected without polishing the surface.
Now as far as replacing the rims under warranty, I don't know, you must prove that the rims fail do to craftmanship and not normal wear. Let us know if they change them for you if you give it a try.

 

iv gotten my Acura rims replaced under warranty. i had the optional chrome rims from acura and one of them was pitting so i brought it in and they replaced it for free.

so yea just make an appoitment with ur dealership.
