getting an exahust

getting an exahust

ok i wanna get an exahust... but doesnt that void the warratny? i was told that it does, but if u take it to the dealer and they install it for you that it wont. is this true?

no, it doesn't.

just going to a place that follows dealer practices will keep you in check.

but if something goes wrong, the dealer will sometimes try to pass it off to the installer.

installing the TL exhaust is pretty easy if you have a lift, you could even do it yourself.

You shouldn't even need a lift... I did it on my driveway in 45 min. Very easy to do and won't void any warranties. A warranty can only be voided if the dealer can prove, without doubt, that the aftermarket part caused the problem that you are trying to receive warranty work on.

Most exhausts for our cars are axle-back, and not cat back, so if you get an axle back, you shoudl be bale to do it yourself with no problem, and I dont see what warranty could possibley voided from the install of different mufflers no matter who installs it.
