to be honest with you lexus are good cars..the TL is leaning towards the performace side while the lexus leans towards the luxury side. ive been in a old 96-97 lexus es 300 and damn the engine is quite.. the rev meter was up to 3000 - 3500 rpm and i can barely hear the engine

 

I still like the IS300. Being that I am 17, if I could make the choice again I would have taken the IS just because of it's body styling. I love my TL though, now that it is teenagerized.

 

the IS300 is a nice car but put against its a BMW 325 CI or 330 CI is both slower and the styling isnt as good. i would just get the 330 CI...the IS300 looks nice dont get me wrong but it looks chopped off...

 

the 3 series coupes are nice but they look too much like the sedan versions with 2 doors molded in. plus the reliability of the Bimmers suck. I would pick the Is300 since I like the styling alot more. considering it's an automatic, it's not that slow compared to 330 auto.

 

330 will cost 10k more than the is. they are not really comparable cars.
