I get what you're talking about, paying a high price to own a luxury car and then replacing the emblems to that of a non luxury car. I was thinking of changing my emblems also, but this is the reason that kept me from doing so. The "H" emblems do look nice on the TL though. It makes your car look different from all of the other tl's on the road. A few years ago when I first saw a tl w/ the "Inspire" emblem (before I knew about the tl), I was wondering what the Honda Inspire was, since that doesn't exist here. The cool thing is that Inspire not some random name change, it's actually relevant to Honda. Inspire does sound nicer than TL. Also, I read somewhere the other day that the Inspires/Sabers were built in Ohio and exported to Japan. If this is true, then they're all (TL, Inspire, and Saber) technically American.

Lexus's are Toyota's with more technology and better materials (leather, wood, sound system, etc.) but cars sold under the Toyota name are just as reliable.
What is with you and labeling? Did you read my last comment? Because your ignorance continues to amaze me...

The UA4/UA5 TL (1999-2003) has equivalents under the Honda badging, whereas there is no Honda-badged equivalent of the UA6/UA7 TL (2004-2008).
Making the Acura TL into a Honda Inspire/Saber is the same thing as making the Acura Integra into a Honda Integra, and Acura NSX into a Honda NSX. It's a trend in the United States to make their Acura TL into their counterparts sold in Japan, vice versa (People in Japan make their Honda Inspire/Saber into Acura TL's).
The trend is popular for cars which have a JDM counterpart. If you put a Honda badge on a UA6/UA7 TL... that's just ricer, because there is no JDM counterpart with a Honda badge.
That isn't always the case. In Japan, Lexus is not nearly as popular as it is in the United States. In Japan, they have the Toyota Crown, which is up to par with the Lexus LS, the only difference being that the Crown is much more popular.
It isn't butchering. It's the "JDM" trend, which usually includes much more performance modifications as well as visual. You have your mind set too much on labeling. Just because a C230 is a Mercedes doesn't mean it's luxurious, it's actually a piece of shit. The Honda S2000 is much nicer of a car than an Acura RSX. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

LMFAO, stop being a hypocrite. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even jjashaa, so why do you need to bash him for his 2 cents?
Why is it that people like you (you, who bashes others for doing something you don't like) resort to talking down on others because they mispelled, or even purposely mispelled words? It's because you have nothing going for you in this chat.

Bahaha..are you kidding me? Look man, if you're not gonna grow up, then don't hang around here. No one is asking for your opinion on squat. No one needs your input on what you think the most reliable car is. If you think Toyota is, then you can sell ur Acura, if you even have one, go buy a Lexus/Toyota, and go join some Toyota or Lexus forum where you can have others not care about your opinion as well. That way we don't have to deal with immature idiots such as yourself. Why are you even on here if you really think those cars are the best? Shouldn't you have bought one of those instead of an Acura?

considering that the inspire/saber came with front side bumper cameras and bumper sensors
...all while the acura TL never had any of it.
but im annoyed of ignorant post of saying honda is better or acura is better....its all one maker!

LOL let me fix that last statement... I feel sorry for society that you and your wife exist.
lol sorry to bust your bubble but teens don't go to bed as early as 7pm. At least you have a family? I'm 19, I'm glad I don't have a wife right now, LOL.
lol umm... I never said anything about comparing Toyota of Japan versus Lexus of the US. I was comparing Toyota in the US versus Lexus in the US. Mark Levinson Sound System, Mahogany trim, etc.
By the way, they began selling the Toyota Celsior under the Lexus LS name a few years ago... same car, different name (in Japan).
I don't doubt that Toyota of Japan has much more technology than Toyota/Lexus of America. It costs more to buy a Lexus LS in the US than it does in Japan, so there probably are options that don't make it here.

no offense but your post is just as ignorant as his was. lexus's are toyota's but they do not have more technology. Toyota's in asia have more luxury options than a lexus would have here.

On a lighter note. Did you guys hear that Heath Ledger has died.
The actor is mainly famous for starring in Brokeback Mountain and plays The Joker in upcoming film The Dark Knight. Apparantly he overdosed on sleeping pills.
