Get JDM Look without the Wait 56K Photo

I try getting JDM rear "H" emblem to complete my UA5 INSPIRE look form some of our vendor and other source an they all told me it may take up to 4-6week or even longer.

So Today I was bore an wanted to try using the rear "H" off my 99 Honda Odyssey. This made my Wife very MAD

So here is how it turn out....

"A" INSPIRE

The "A" remove an glue clean off ( I use GOO Gone)

"H" pin are little smaller so I added some tape an I put new 3m tape on back part of "H"

It look an fit perfectly

So lately this week I will be going to Honda dealer so I can pickup new rear "H".
Here is the part# 75701-SP0-000 It's same ones on 96-00 2D Civic an 95-01 Honda Odyssey.

By the Way it also fit THIS

because every window, electrical device and engine part says "honda of america" on it. the real honda factory in Japan is asking "what the fuck is an Acura" right now...... pay attention. almost all the acura's are hondas with acura badges... look at the TL behind you and ask yourslef why you bought a honda with acura badges and make people think its an acura...... let me know the answer when you're done brainstorming

In 1998, Honda revealed the TL-X concept car, showing a preview of the second-generation TL which would debut a year later. The second-generation TL (now called 3.2 TL) was released in 1999 and was now derived off the US-market Honda Accord platform. It was available with a newly-designed 3.2 L 225 hp (168 kW) SOHC VTEC J32 V6 mated to a four-speed electronic automatic transmission with SportShift.

The second-generation 3.2 TL (the 2.5 was dropped) was built in Marysville, Ohio, alongside the Honda Accord, at Marysville Auto Plant. These cars were imported into Japan and sold as Honda Inspire in the Honda Clio dealer network, and as Honda Saber in the Honda Primo and Honda Verno dealer networks. The main difference between the two cars were the front grille; the Inspire and Saber were also available with a 2.5 L Honda J-series V6 exclusive to the Japanese market.

The very first 1999 Acura TL (2G) rolled off the assembly line on August 4, 1998. The only option on the sedan was a hard drive-based navigation system. The 1999 TL's navigation system stored the maps in zones; there were 5 different zones for the U.S.

1998

For 1998, Acura made several optional features standard on the 2.5 TL. 1998 was the last year of TL production in Japan, as the model was being redesigned for production in the United States.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acura_TL

For 1999, the slow-selling, Japanese-sourced TL gave way to a slightly larger TL sedan. Built in the U.S., on the same chassis as the Honda Accord and the contemporary Honda Odyssey minivan, the near-luxury, front-drive TL slotted between the entry-level Integra and the luxury RL sedan.
http://consumerguideauto.howstuffwor...3-acura-tl.htm

i dont know how much of it was made here, but it was made here

wow what is wrong with you folks, whats wrong with him wanting to convert his to an inspire, why do you put a lip kit on when it doesnt do anything but adds to the appearance, samething as the H emblem, so get off his nuts since his car probably looks better then most of you haters.

When I had the 09 TL loaner, it is really strange. Most everything in the car is tagged with the Acura name and logo. Not like our 2nd gens, The windows and most electrical components are labled with Acura in the 2009 model.

IMO, a lot of you guys (as well as many people around the US/world) are confusing JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) with JDP (Japanese Domestic Product). JDM just means how a product is designed/sold in Japan or for the Japanese market. It has nothing to do with where the product was manufactured. JDP on the other hand is for products specifically made in Japan. Just because a car was built in the US doesn't mean it isn't "JDM". A car built in the US that is modified for the Japanese market and sold in the Japanese market is JDM as per my understanding of the terminology.
