question..... as you can see the H is gettin bigger every yr....you think i can put one of those 4inch H in the rear witout lettering n it still looks good? i currently hav a 93 civic one on... its a lil under 2.5inch... i think its too smalll...cant see it somtimes...i be thinkin it fell off......i think op n i hav the same one.

I try using Front "H" front the Odyssey an it was too big the size was 3.5 x 3 . The "H" I'm using now is 2.75 X 2.25.

i dont know about you guys, but i have driven hondas my whole life. know i have a 3rd generation tl and am proud of it. every one here knows that an acura is a top of the line honda. just like a lexus is a top of the line toyota.
so why graduate to an acura which the a symbol is known for luxury,and then butcher it with an h symbol which is known for economical transportation etc...

I can agree if you have 3Gen TL you wouldn't put "H" on it, B/c in Japan they don't even make 3 Gen TL. Since we have 2Gen TL we have choice between rocking "H" or "A" an being USDM or JDM.

The UA4/UA5 TL (1999-2003) has equivalents under the Honda badging, whereas there is no Honda-badged equivalent of the UA6/UA7 TL (2004-2008).

Making the Acura TL into a Honda Inspire/Saber is the same thing as making the Acura Integra into a Honda Integra, and Acura NSX into a Honda NSX. It's a trend in the United States to make their Acura TL into their counterparts sold in Japan, vice versa (People in Japan make their Honda Inspire/Saber into Acura TL's).

The trend is popular for cars which have a JDM counterpart. If you put a Honda badge on a UA6/UA7 TL... that's just ricer, because there is no JDM counterpart with a Honda badge.

That isn't always the case. In Japan, Lexus is not nearly as popular as it is in the United States. In Japan, they have the Toyota Crown, which is up to par with the Lexus LS, the only difference being that the Crown is much more popular.

It isn't butchering. It's the "JDM" trend, which usually includes much more performance modifications as well as visual. You have your mind set too much on labeling. Just because a C230 is a Mercedes doesn't mean it's luxurious, it's actually a piece of shit. The Honda S2000 is much nicer of a car than an Acura RSX. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

I get what you're talking about, paying a high price to own a luxury car and then replacing the emblems to that of a non luxury car. I was thinking of changing my emblems also, but this is the reason that kept me from doing so. The "H" emblems do look nice on the TL though. It makes your car look different from all of the other tl's on the road. A few years ago when I first saw a tl w/ the "Inspire" emblem (before I knew about the tl), I was wondering what the Honda Inspire was, since that doesn't exist here. The cool thing is that Inspire not some random name change, it's actually relevant to Honda. Inspire does sound nicer than TL. Also, I read somewhere the other day that the Inspires/Sabers were built in Ohio and exported to Japan. If this is true, then they're all (TL, Inspire, and Saber) technically American.
