Anyone knows a way of having the gear indicator ON while the transmission in AUTO?

hmmm...that would be a nice little mod huh? even in auto mode, you know exactly what gear your in. c'mon..where is all the smart people..

 

Although it might be a cool mod, it probably is not that useful.

For one thing, you might think you are in SS mode and try to downshift by accident and even upshift into N. Not the safest thing to do.

As far as how to do it, sorry, don't know that.

 

I agree with Edub...although it would be cool, it could cause some problems with the SS. Then again, maybe not...we'll just have to wait and see...

 

I can't think of a neat way to do it either, but a lame way to have the gear display indicate what gear you're currently in is to slide the shifter to SS for a moment, then slide it back to normal mode.

 

Ha, ha! I already do this! I think I'm in SS and move the shifter up... only to find myself in neutral! :wow:

So I still want the mod!
