Gas Pedal Difficult to Press
I apologize in advance if this is a stupid/novice question....
For the past two days, the gas pedal on my car has been acting very weird. It's as if there is a brick underneath it (I checked already to see if the floormat was stuck ) - even when I am on the highway going around 75-80 mph in D5, when I press the gas pedal, it almost physically doesn't go down.
It eventually accelerates - there is no jerking or hard movement, but it takes forever for the car to go from 50 mph to 80 mph on a highway, instead of the usually quick accleration that I experience once I am around those speeds.
Any ideas? I am driving a 2003 TL w/40K on it.
Thanks!

Get your throttle body cleaned out, or geta spray can of Gumout (or its equivalent) and do it yourself. My pedal was sticking when I would first accelerate- when I had the tranny oil kit put on, I had the Acura tech check and he sprayed the throttle body and linkage. Ther was a lot of carbon on the throttle body, making it stick. It worked for me.
