how many miles is that? But that still doesn't sound right because my best is almost 350 miles on one tank. I average about 300 miles per tank with every day driving.
Sounds like something is wrong though or your just stomping on your gas pedal. Do you drive hard a lot? If your hitting vtec a lot and flying off the line, your gas milage is gonna suck like that but if your not, something's not right.

In Canada we use KM...i get around 400 KM (250 Miles) on half a tank...i know this becasue I only fill the tank when its half full....and I use the trip meter to see how much I get...i always get around 350-400 per half a tank. I use ESSO 91 Octane.

Hey, my car does around 350~400 km / tank too. And I fuel 94 octane like you do but in Sunoco. Maybe it is the city driving? Or You and I get in to By-Pass to many times?

My gass mileage is pretty bad also... any suggestions?

I put K&N around two weeks ago....

And my car has around 18K to 20K Kms on it.

How many miles are on your car. Mine car didn't really break in until around 7000 miles. Then the milage went up to 22-24 in city driving.

Sounds like there is definitely a problem. Have you had it hooked up to the computer lately and they checked the fuel/air mixture?

My dealer said its not good to use Petro Canada fuel becasue of the Additives they put in their gas. I suggest going to Shell or Esso.

There are 1.609km in a mile, so 375/1.609 = ~233 miles...

Personally, I get 370 miles (595 km) to the tank in my '00 TL running 94 octane at highway speeds ~80mph (128km/hr).

PS: Try replacing the oxygen sensor, it is easy and they don't last forever. When they go bad it could make your car run real rich using much more gas.

Welcome to the freaking gas guzzler's club. Not that I'm downing my A-Spec, cause I know that my gas mileage is normal, it's just terrible. I know that my car has the potential to get as much in MPG as the TL's on this board, however my life warrants me driving short trips around my house, and so my gas mileage decreases like crazy. I generally will have the gas light go on at around 360-390km per tank...

TL is great for speed, but shit for gas in the city.
However, if you drive a lot of mixed, or mostly highway, the TL is the car to get!!!

I have never replaced it on my TL; have replaced it on three other makes though. All you need is wratchet and a oxy sensor socket. This is only one of the more obvious things that could go bad. Todays engines have so many friggin sensors that the only way to really see what's happening is to hook it up to a diagnostic computer while it's running (dealer job).

When you take all the factors into account (size of the car, size of engine, etc.) there is probably nothing wrong with the car. The way you can tell is by driving atleast 100 km on the highway. Based on how fast the gauge drops compared to in the city will tell you. If you're at 3/4 at 100km when you drive city, and you are only a notch above that on the highway, then there is definitely something wrong. My gauge usually won't move off the F for about 70km when I drive all highway.

Anyways, I think the TL is still a shit hot car. I love mine. I was with ResidualFreedom waxing it yesterday (Thanks to him BTW, he was definitely the one who pulled out the real ABP out of the car!!!). Anyways the car is shining like crazy this morning.

Meguiar's NXT Gen is awesome stuff!!! Doesn't quite conceal the swirls like it says it does, but I'm gonna wash again, and put another layer on and see what happens.

Take care guyz.
