Angry Fvcked up my front lip

ok so i was driving to a mall on the other day and the entrance ramp is a little high

i was going in sideway but there was a car coming out so i had no choice coz i had no time in turning left into the mall (the cars were coming at me)

i was going very slow and still the bottom of the front lip stretched up

i thought it was just the lip and leave it alone

but today when i at the shop i found out the paint of the front bumper was peeling off a little bit near the fender!!! it freaked me out a little bit and the bumper is not in place after the stretch

the bumper clip is off and now it has a little gap on the driver side, i know it's normal to lowered cars but you can't avoid it

just want to vent it out....my car is just too low right now...

Been there done that. It's inevitable, man. My front lip has been repainted like twice already due to bottoming out.

Which mall? I'll have to make sure I avoid it!

I have H&R 50103 and oem kit - I cringe every time I enter a parking lot....

my front lip is destroyed underneath from when i had my stock rims. You guys think u had it bad, i had -1 to almost -2 finger gap on my stock rims. It was slammeedd, after i got the 19s, its a lot better now, i dont scrap that much because the car it self sits a little higher then it did before. Now i got barely 1 finger gap.

Is it possible to get a paint shop to paint it when the bottom of the lip has kinda been streaded? It would really need to be smoothed out.

Thumbs down

Ouch, that must suck. When you start scraping everything off the floor, its a sign your car is either too low, of the ground is crooked. We can't change the latter now can we?

I feel your pain between worrying about hitting a pot whole or bottoming out I say is it worth to do all this to your car because you cant drive it hard. I had my bdoy kit on for 3 days and scraped the front luckily it was underneath so you can see it but I know its there.

My advise by a HOOPTY to beat on.

I've got the same combo and I hardly ever have problems entering and exiting parking lots.... I've scraped a few times the past year, I pushed a lil snow in the winter. My main problem is not being able to judge the distance pulling into parking spaces.. Damn curbs...
