Fuel Mixture too rich what do i do

Fuel Mixture too rich what do i do

I can smell my exhaust being very rich in my car. I have a injen cold air, aem pulleys and underdrive pulley, comtech headers do i need to put in smaller injectors. need your help

That is computer controled & should adjust on its own. Have you tried unpluging the battery for 15-20 minutes & reconnecting it? That should reset it.

I will try it i think that i am just burning right through gas

Do you have gas mileage records? I assume if its running rich, you'd see a drop in your gas mileage from the extra fuel being burned.

The "smell" isn't a really methodical way to gauge air-to-fuel mixture ratio.

I check my gas mileage on every fill-up, so I know something's wrong if it's out of the usual range.

Unplug the battery overnight and reconnect it. This will reset your long term data on the PCM.

get a air fuel ratio meter.
