fuel injection cleaning

fuel injection cleaning

can this process be done on a diy instruction or is it mainly for dealers and shops to do.

I would just send them off to a company to have them do a flow test on your injectors, clean them, blueprint and balance your injectors. I've heard nothing about good things about RC engineering. The cost is roughly $30/injector.

If you want a cheaper DIY, you could just pull your injectors and clean them out with an injector cleaner, but your results may vary.

Is your car running rough? I like the Chevron Techron fuel inj cleaner. That seems to do the trick..

I like BG44K or something like that. That did the trick for me. I'm gonna do a can of that every 3-4K from now on, as well as spraying in some throttle body cleaner. Just to prevent buildup and shit.
