Fuel Gauge and Brakes

The last two fill ups...(and I strictly use either Amoco or Shell 93 to add to the Shell gas thread) my gas guage does not reach full. It hangs up at around 3/4 tank. Anyone know what gives?
How do ya fix that??

Also, my Acura (Hall Acura of Virginia Beach) dealer said using EBC green or Axis performance brake pads will mess up my rotors (which are already warped). Has anyone ever had a problem?

Thanks, Bryan

Contact your dealer there is a service bulletin specifically for this problem. The sending unit in the fuel tank is no longer functioning properly and must be replaced to correct the problem. Some brake pads are very aggressive and will wear your rotors quickly but the car will also stop faster. So to put it simply are you willing to trade better performance for somewhat shorter rotor life?Jens

My car has 55K now...I am wondering if the dealer will fix the fuel gauge under warranty?

Re-read Jens' post. Jens is a dealer.

Went to Hall Acura of Virginia Beach where they discovered the sending unit was bad. They said it was NOT covered under warranty (my car has 55K now), but there was a service bulliten concerning the failure in sending units. Great news is the service manager said he would go ahead and fix it for me for free! They didnt have the part so she goes back to the shop next week for repair.

My thanks to Hall Acura for being so kind..now if I could Acura to resurface or replace my rotors which have warped three times now. Parts manager suggested I just get brembo rotors....

of course Brembo's are great, they're just going to cost you $2-$3k
