Front Sidemarker Socket Question02-03' TL
Hi,
I'm doing a retrofit headlight conversion from my 00-01' TL's headlight wire harness to include the sidemarker light under the front turn signal.
I can buy the socket from the dealership, but it doesn't come with wires : (
I know there are 194 bulb sockets that come wired and ready to go, but which ones should I get?
JNC said here's how to install them:
Tap them into the power supply to the 1157 bulbs, 1157 is a three wire socket with one wire constant ground, one wire for indicator filament and one for parking. You need to tap into the ground and the parking light wire.
194 are two wire sockets.
There are some at the bottom of this page that I was going to buy to use with the very first bulb at the top of the page.... Just don't know which one to get without physically checking. I'm hoping someone knows already, so I don't have to return the wrong ones...
194 Bulbs and Sockets
Thanks In Advance

ok if this helps anyone... If anyone wants to do add the extra sidemarker light under the turn signal to the 99-01 harness...
Here are the part numbers to purchase from the acura dealer... don't bother trying to find and figure out another way lol... and use the install instructions above
Socket: 34303-SS1-003
Adapter plug for socket: 04321-SM4-309
Wires for the Adapter (2) : 04320-SP0-T00
For 2 sets of these parts (both headlights) I payed about $30 total
Also, if you're running LED's and your blinkers go to fast... try this ...
Blazin_TL told me this : )
Ok this is the easiest thing to do.. go to superbrightleds.com and buy the Electronic LED Flasher unit the part number is CF13JL-02..
you need to pull out the stock flasher relay thats located in the drivers side fusebox on the side facing the passanger
here is a picture of the fusebox..the flasher unit is on the right side on the bottom (ignore the red circle)

pull that one out and replace it with the new one.. now here is the problem. the relay they give you is too big to fit so what you have to do is carefully pull the black box off it.. its quite easy taking it off.. it only took me two minutes and all works fine.. my blinkers work fine and it still clicks when the signal is on and this works for the front and back reguardless if u switch back to regular bulbs.
hope this helps
