Front Side Windows Tint

I have 50% tint on the front side windows and in Cali, the legal limit is 70%. If I get into an accident and it's my fault, would my insurance company compensate the other party? I'm guessing they wouldn't since my tints are illegal. But I'd like to hear your opinions. Also, would I get sued because my tints are illegal and the accident is my fault?

on my other car, i had 20% all around, I got in a bad accident going 75, when a fukin moron decided to switch lane into me, like i was invisible...my insurance never said anything, and the adjuster didnt even look at the tinted windows.

I dont know, maybe I got lucky thru my experience on both fronts: life and insurance.

watever you do keep in mind the front window will look much darker cuz the rear and the side tints bring out the darkness of the front

Actually fronts always look lighter since so much light enters in from the untinted windshield.
