Front and Rear Strobe Lights???

Just finished installing white neons under my car, they don't look too flashy but it definately gives the car more appeal. I guess since they aren't too bright NYPD don't really mind, I have passed a few police cars and stations an all they did was stare.

I just ordered strobe lights for my front corner and rear taillights and I was just wondering if anyone knew what the penalty would be if I got pulled over using the strobes (parked or driving).

What do you guys think of the lights? Too ricey, too flashy, too much of a gamble, share your thoughts...

I will be posting pictures after it is all installed...

i think strobes are sweet, just don't have them on while riding. thats really "white-boy" thing to do.

I'm not the least bit into the strobe light thing.
I'm probably alot older than you, but I have always lived by the thought that if you spend $$$ on stuff that doesn't make the car faster or handle better,(gears, blowers, exhaust, etc.) it should at least make it SEEM like it's faster or handles better. (wheels, tips, tint, letc.)
I think the strobe thing looks a little cheesey and definitely looks out of place on a classy/luxury car like the TL.

Just my 2 Cents...

g5luder watch u mouth bro.........no need for comments like that...pealty can just be tix equal to havin tint but if they want to be real jerks they can slap u for impersonating a police officer which wont happen 99 percent of the time as far as strobes go when i had em in my old blazer it was never can be on in the street but if ur in a parking lot and the car isnt movin they can be on

g5luder,
I guess you are right, I am contradicting myself with the tint.
Tips can make a car LOOK faster though and sometimes sound better.
Either way, I guess the bottom line is I just don't like strobes. I have no idea what they cost, but I'm sure I could find someplace better to spend my $$$.

strobes are a great saftey device,I'd love to hook some up to the brake lights and have them flash only when the ABS activates.I'm the type that will hit my hazard while making a tire sreeching stop on the freeway. BTW a little off sub but anyone see those 3rd brake lights that flash instead of coming on solid.I've noyiced them on new CRV's but doubt it came like that.

I will probably put strobes on my car later on. But I will ONLY turn them on if my car is parked.

I would rather take a strobe light and shove it up my own ass than putting it on my car. The only lights on my car will be the factory lights and nothing more, especially not some neon and strobe lights. Too ricey for my taste.

A friend of mine had them wired to his alarm....when the alarm went off, the strobes would flash! When activicated they draw attention to your ride in the event of break-in. Neat application!

I don't know about anyone else's actions, BUT

When I am not driving my car, I'm NOT sitting around in a F-in parking lot, looking for trouble or a drive by ... Shi& does happen

Find someplace better to hang out, like the Gym or a house.

I'm gonna be putting strobe in my car for shows. That's probably the only time I will use them. Maybe if someone cuts me off, I'll pretend to pull them over.
