front lip cracked, suggestions needed

hi i cracked my front kit lip a while back and 'repaired' it with some cold weld epoxy and some superglue gel. that held for a couple weeks but apparently i scraped the lip on something else. sure it would make more sense to raise the car up but thats not where i want to go with it.

i want to use some kind of mesh to use as a backing to the epoxy to help keep it in place. i got some screen door material but was wondering if anyone has used anything else with good success? one of the bigger problems is the far left bracket (the one closest to the wheel well) snapped off so holding that corner in is tough. i still have it but need to try and get it closest to original strength if possible.

Try fiberglass with mesh inplace of the screening. When done properly
it is extremely strong.

mesh wont work. ffind your self a auto "paint" store and get your self some PLASTIC WELD. its a 2 part epoxy designed for bumpers and plastics like that. and if you crack that then the damage is to extensive and you need a new lip

this cold weld stuff i have is similar really. it claims a 3000psi bond after 16 hours and bonds to metals and plastics (among other stuff) and shows auto/marine use. the issue i have is that i wanted extra support since im mostly applying the epoxy to the crack on the backside (and in the crack of course) but i figured if i used some non rusting 'mesh' it would just provide extra support.

maybe this isnt a good idea and i need to just use more epoxy. (i may need a new lip but im gonna repair this til it melts )

as for the fiberglass would the resin bond to the poly/plastic surface of the lip well?

fiberglass and mesh would help, but if its getting worse, a new lp might be needed, and raise the car a little when you put it on

plastic weld id desinged for plastics. it requires correct useage to make it stronger than before. you would have to clean up the areas and "V" the part thats cracked. just simplu gobbing it over the crack on the back side WONT work it needs to get inbetween to bond first. then after it has been built up you could use a mesh type material and that on the back side (which should be scuffed up for good adheasion)and the plastic weld
