I just though that this should be posted if anyone ever needs to remove their bumper to do anything.
Removing the bumper is pretty simple although I am not responsible for any damages that may occur during the process. The bumper is attached to the rest of the car by pins, screws, and anchors. All it takes is some strength, some house tools, and a little patience.
The Process: You can either start on the bottom or the top. I started on the top
Step 1 Easy Stuff Pop the hood and you will notice 8 pins, some of them go into the chasis and some go into the grill through this plastic/rubber thing. Take the 8 pins out, remove the plastic/rubber thing, and take two more pins out that are exposed. Now on each side of the grill which is attached to the bumper (which will also come off with the bumper so don't try to remove it) you will notice a minature pin, take it out (a total of 2 pins). Now get under the car and take out 4 more pins Remember that there are 4 pins that are longer than the rest of them, remember where they go. There are 4 screws (2 on each side) that secure the bumper to the chasis. One of the screws is under the fender (where the bumper starts on the side). The other screw is closer to the ground under the car. Remove them on each side.
Step 2 Anchors The rest of the bumper is attached to the car by 10 anchors, 5 on each side. These anchors are little metal triangles on the chasis that are surrounded by a hard plastic loop (indicated by red arrows) of the bumper. All you'll have to do is lift and pull (so the the plastic loops can pop off) in order to remove the bumper. The location of the anchors are in my pic You should start by removing the side anchor by the fender but before that, loosen the plastic loop (indicated by blue arrow) where the first screw was (by the fender). Once that's done, what you want to do is push up and pull outward.... try to push it as much as you can, although there isn't much room, so see if you can use that big flat-head screwdriver to move things around a bit. Remove the side anchor on both sides of the car. Now proceed to the headlight, start to work on it from the outside to the center. Make sure that you apply a direct upward force, and not a curved one because the loops won't come off the anchors and you might bend or even break them. Push up and pull out. You may have to use the screw driver to help take 'em off one by one. See if you can do one side first, or work on each side with each anchor.
Step 3 Placing the bumper back Well this should be very simple as the anchors should pop in easily, just make sure that when you place the bumper back on, that the rubber under the car gets under the bumper and doesn't stick out or else you'll have to take the bumper off again. Once the bumper is back on, you have 4 screws and all the pins. Remember that there are 4 pins that are longer than others. Try not to loose the pins as the dealer charges $3.00 per pin.
