Front bumper removal for 2003 TL
it's really not that hard
(http://picasaweb.google.com/amgala/1...nInstructions#)
you just pull a bunch of those plastic clips (like 6 on the bottom & a few in the wheel wells, than a slight yank & it comes off mostly (then u have to unplug the fog lights, IIRC)). voila. you're done

Those instructions are for removing a front lip, not the bumper.
For the bumper, there is a short Philips head screw on each side just inside the wheel well. It fastens the bumper to the fender, and goes in straight up. There is also a 10mm bolt on the bottom of the bumper on each side that fastens it to the fender well splash guards. Other than that, there are plastic push-in clips that have to be removed from the grill around the hood latch, and some more underneath where the front splash guard attaches. Once all those are removed, just pull it out on the sides, and pull forward up front. There are slots underneath the headlights that the bumper slides into, and retainer clips on the sides holding it to the fender. And if you have foglights, those will have to be unplugged as mentioned above.
