front bumper was hit

Not the way I wanted to start the new year however I am not going to let this incident get to me. anyways I was parked and came back to see that someone backed into my front dented and cracked the right corner of my bumper. luckily it looks like only the bumper was damaged. now I could call up my insurance and pay the $300 deductable, OR I just checked carpartswholesale.com and found an unprimered bumper for $167, and get it painted for a fairly good price. I am going to check the acura dealerships and see if their prices are competitive. any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry about the mishap, do a search. Seems like I remember a coulple of months ago, somebody said to call a 1-800# for a bumper... I want to say Ray Keys or something like that and the price painted was like $280 shipped.

just got mine fixed this week. some guy backed into me in a parking lot. his insurance paid for it but it cost him $729.44. talk about expensive! the $167 sounds pretty good and getting it painted should make a nice total of around $300. anyways, sorry man, i feel your frustration.
