Angry Front Bumper Cracked!! Hit in a parking lot!

Hey all.... I was parked in a parking lot and when I came back to my car, the driver side corner of my front bumper had a big crack in it. It looks horrible. My car '03 TLS has 126,000 miles on it and I never even got a ding on the doors. I'm sick! So, does anyone know how much a new bumper is gonna cost me?

Thanks!
BJsTLS

Damn, sorry to hear that. That actaully happened to me not to long ago in a parking lot. Came out and saw a bing dent in my rear bumper. I was soo pissed. but anyways, a new bumper is about 200-250? and paint is another 200-300 depending on place and quality. So your looking to spend about 500.

I know... it's a lot of miles. I work a little over 60 miles from my house and drive occassionally 4 hours away to my in-laws. Sad thing is, I have been carpooling for the last 6 months, so the mileage could be a lot worse!!

PiMpiN wHITe Cl-S - Thanks for the info. I was actually hoping it would be that cheap..........

I always go up to Toms River at the Mall. There is nothing in Barnegat for shopping. I have relatives in Pt. Pleasant and my wife works in Manchester........... I'd say I'd look for your car but it is always pretty damn busy in Toms River!!!

I agree here. I was recently rear-ended a few months ago and the insurance company of the girl who hit me decided to replace my rear bumper. If I remember correctly, the total came out to a little over 600 dollars for parts and labor. Might be better just to pay this one out the pocket if you can afford it

Yep, a new bumper cover would run about 250 bucks, and figure another 200-250 for painting.

Hey all, it's been a while regarding this topic but I finally got off my lazy butt and got a quote. I was quoted $923 to have my front bumper cover replaced and painted. They said that there was an additional cost to reinstall the underbody kit!

That being said, let me ask you all what you think of this:

I'm not sure I could figure out how to remove my bumper and install a new one myself, but it may be worth it!????!???

It's actually pretty easy to remove the front bumper cover. Just a few self-tapping screws on the bottom, and one screw on each side in the wheel well that is easily accessible.

That's a pretty good price, assuming it's an OEM cover and a good paint job.
