Ok...i've searched and searched but all i find is the lens repair...i need help with the chrome...since it was cracked i guess rain water got in there and made it corrode and i would like to re-chrome it....i know the spray chrome isnt the greatest but i need to get this looking better, I understand it wont be perfect but anything is better....please help with ideas for chrome or any other substances that will help take out the corrosion

 

i think the only way to get it looking new again, is to get another one...

paint it black, a friend did that when his was flaking also.

For a cheap fix, take some aluminum foil or some other type of foil, lay it inside the housing and use a burnisher to get it even and flat. Should be reflective enough for the fog lights. Got nothing to lose by trying it.

 

The chrome piece is a reflector. Painting it any color is going to kill your light output.
