I have a 2003 TL and I have noticed that after a recent wash, the passenger side headlamp had fog bulid up inside of it. What causes this and is it a problem?

 

a leak would prboably be the cause....and yes it is a problem..mositure is bad for the hid bulb...it could caus eit to pop

 

how would the moisture have gotten in there?

 

the silicone seal isn't quite sealed...take it to the dealer and tell you can blow a HID bulb if you get moisture in there.

 

Could it have been caused by the dealer messing with the headlights? They had to already replace the driver side head lamp due to a broken clip that was causing the headlamp to rattle. Then when i got the car back the dumbasses didnt allign the headlamps and the driver side was way off. Took it back and they alligned both of them. Could that have been the cause?

 

Probably not because the way to align you headlight is by turning a bolt in the back. They didnt have to open the headlight or drill anything...

Take it to the dealer or clear them and fix it yourself...
