Fog lights

2 questions really...I want to change my TL-S 2003 fog lights. Should I go Yellow or White? Don't want to buy if I don't need to if they are the same bulbs that are in my Accord Headlights.... is this correct?

ahhh, the age old question. I actually have HID setups in both 4100K (OEM White) and 3000K (yellow)...the HID pigtail harnesses make it easy to swap out....the white is great for dark night driving to light up the sides of the road really well, but the yellow is better for inclimate weather driving. The HID yellow fogs actually seem to appear white from far away but broadcast yellow on the ground. Yellows really look nice as they reflect off wet pavement..people see white light coming from the housing, but the reflection is all yellow...pretty cool. I go back and forth because I like both, currently I am back to yellow

The correct foglight bulb size is 9006 which is the same bulb type as many Accord model low beams

Yup, I bought a set for $56.99 shipped from a seller called KICXTC or something like that for a project i am working on. Quality looks pretty good...its all plug n play so no worries about splicing or running wires to battery, etc...install is stupid easy

3000K will only be yellow on the ground. If you want the IS300 yellow, just get straight yellow bulbs or yellow film.

^ if you want brighter.. you'd stick with stock kelvin rating... 4300k

or go 5000k

no special kit.. all you need is something that'll fit 9006

if you're going to cheap out like me, get some apexcone/ddm hid kits... they work for me, and are yellow enough for me just don't get anything over 6000k, 8000k is the absolute maximum before rice rice baby, unless you can pull it off with some other crazy shit like strobes :P
